Lately, I've been hearing loud racket outside at random times of night near where two bird feeders are. Each time I've checked after the noise, all I found were swinging bird feeders. Earlier today I found an old cage in storage, and I had the idea of putting it out, baited with peanut butter and crackers. Not long after night had fallen, I heard a lot of activity outside. I grabbed my camera, went to the window and took shots of the noisy culprit that had been visiting. It was too interested in the peanut butter stuck inside to pay much attention to me, but occasionally it did glace back at me. This is one of the better shots of those glances. It worked hard on getting every last lick of peanut butter out of the cage for at least 20 minutes. It overall it was a rather enjoyable show.

Update/edit:

Hours after this was taken, the coon returned to finish off the bits of peanut butter it left behind. To my surprise, it somehow squeezed into the cage to do this. I never thought it could get inside. I didn't get stuck though. I'm glad as it was not my intent to catch it. It was a very determined critter.
